Augment current print and web advertising with video to Introduce Share Organics Food Delivery to the Victoria market. We wanted to highlight the fact that having organic produce and groceries delivered to your door was a viable, affordable, local-friendly thing to do.
Over the course of 18 months, we went inside the company, talked to farmers, employees, customers and the community to give us a sense of what Share was all about. As with all storytelling, it is important to show the human side and we chose inspiring, simple stories that resonated with Share’s clientele.
The first two episodes focused on the owner and one of the bicycle delivery drivers. For episode three, we produced an audio and pictorial feature with a happy, long-term customer of Share. We then took the show back to the land at Madrona and Sun Trio Farms to introduce a couple of the hard working, entrepreneurial farmers. Our final episode returned to Madrona for the 5th Annual Chef Challenge — a foodie paradise.
We also produced a feature on another Share employee, Colleen. She learned about organic farming and sustainable ecology in Mexico and brought back a bunch of film that we edited. It was another unique piece that showcased how progressive and dedicated Share was to sustainable development.
For our second customer feature, we hired photographer Jasmin Jackson to take a personal look into receiving organic boxes. She produced a genuine reflection on the importance of eating well in her life.
Share Organics was an ideal client in that they were open to ideas and offered some of their own as well. We used different strategies for the project and developed pieces that Share is still using two years later.
